Speaking to an Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia was disturbed about Ukraine’s growing militarization, and particularly the 40 percent growth of its defense budget.
The defense measures were caused by Russia in the first place, who has
been sending its tanks and troops to fight against Ukrainian government
forces in Donbas.
