Acting State Emergeny Services Director Zoryan Shkiryak’s expedition to evacuate Ukrainians from earthquake-struck Nepal started on April 29 and took almost a week and Hr 7.4 million of state budget money.
The plane broke down, leaving the mission staff stranded in India and
Nepal for days. More than a dozen journalists invited by Shkiryak
instead covered his failure to organize a smooth evacuation. It was duly
noted that the director brought his girlfriend along.
