On May 11, President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine’s state-owned weapon producer conglomerate Ukroboronprom should be among the five biggest weapons exporters globally.
At the same time, there have been multiple reports about Ukraine’s own
soldiers suffering from the lack of quality and inferior equipment in
their standoff with combined Russian-separatist troops in Donbas.
