A new police force started patrolling the streets of Kyiv on July 4, becoming a big hit in social media during the process.
The trend of people taking selfies with the new recruits is well under way showing trust toward the newcomers. Many of the photographs were later posted in social networks with
hashtags #KyivPolice and #selfiewithacop. The account of Kyivpolice in
Instagram hits 15,600 subscribers in a few days.
