International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde visited Ukraine, meeting with President Petro Poroshenko on Sept. 6.
Lagarde lauded the progress Ukraine’s government has made toward
stabilizing the Ukrainian economy. But while Lagrade is satisfied with
the progress, many Ukrainians are dismayed with the lack of reforms and
economic recession.
