On Oct. 15, the investigative TV show “Schemes” aired a TV story about employees of the Security Service of Ukraine driving the cars they couldn’t afford with their legal income.
The SBU tried to stop the investigation from going on air, saying that
the employees who were seen parking $50,000 cars next to the SBU offices
could be participants of the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas. The
footage, SBU said, could be used by Russia and the anti-Ukrainian
separatists.
