Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers is in crisis, with Western-educated reformers being pushed out, one by one, raising the prospect of old faces in Ukrainian politics retaking their places.
On Feb. 3, Ukraine’s Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavicius announced his
resignation. He said he was fed up with pressure from the president’s
allies who are trying to benefit financially from state-owned
enterprises controlled by his ministry.
