The Ukrainian parliament dismissed Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin on March 29.
During his one year on the job, Shokin
failed to prosecute any cronies of former President Viktor Yanukovych
despites allegations of financial fraud and mass murder. He also failed
to find any evidence of corruption among current officials and
obstructed reforms.
