Prosecutors sought to arrest ex-Deputy Prosecutor General Vitaly Kasko in an apartment fraud case that looks fabricated because of Kasko’s exposure of systemic prosecutorial corruption.
The speed of the investigation against Kasko contrasts with the
stonewalling and obstruction involving major graft and murder cases
involving current and former public officials, including ex-President
Viktor Yanukovych and his allies.
