On May 2, Odesa marked two years since the clashes between pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian activists that ended with 48 people killed.
The city had increased its police presence to prevent a possible confrontation. Interior Minister Arsen Avakov commented on it in a form of a sneering haiku, a three-line Japanese poem, that he authored and posted on Facebook.
