Parliament is launching a commission to investigate offshore firms and corruption.
The Petro Poroshenko Bloc named five candidates for the commission, but
many were surprised that bloc member Sergii Leshchenko, a former
journalist known for his investigations, wasn’t among them.
The
commission is expected to examine, among other things, allegations
against President Poroshenko and the deputy head of his bloc, lawmaker
Ihor Kononenko.
