At a press conference on Nov. 25 ex-President Viktor Yanukovych was asked how much money and valuables he brought with him as he fled Ukraine for Russia in February 2014, running away from the EuroMaidan Revolution. “I had only carry-on baggage with me,” answered Yanukovych. But the surveillance tapes from his residence near Kyiv, Mezhyhirya, show that Yanukovych’s belongings were loaded into several trucks as he was hastily leaving the residence.
