Nearly 30 men came to the Russian Embassy in Kyiv, demanding that Russian President Vladimir Putin stop his attacks on the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo. They brought flowers, toys and printed photographs made in Aleppo which they attached to the fence in front of the embassy.

The Associated Press reports that Turkey is again receiving civilian refugees from the onetime stronghold of rebels seeking to oust Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad.
