America House, a U.S. Embassy-sponsored center devoted to American culture, hosted a picnic on July 1 in honor of U.S. Independence Day. The event featured staples of American cuisine, including hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbecued meat.
The picnic attracted dozens of visitors, some of whom chose to dress up in U.S. patriotic costumes. Visitors were able to hear live music, including jazz, and had a chance to practice line dancing, a traditional American form of dance.
