On Sept. 10 dozens of Azov Civilian Corps members marched to Pechersky District Court to demand release of their comrade Sergiy Filimonov who was arrested for hooliganism a day before.

Filimonov was arrested on Sept. 9 during Azov’s rally near KyivMiskBud developing company.

Azov members have been picketing the company’s office to protest a controversial construction of a 25-story house in Svyatoshynskiy District. Locals protest against the construction since the new building will stand too close to the already constructed house.

Azov Civilian Corps members burned tires and smoke bombs and shouted slogans during their rally.

Filimonov was eventually released by the court trial under the responsibility of lawmakers Oleh Petrenko and Andriy Biletsky.

Right after Filimonov was released, he marched to the KyivMiskBud building where he was arrested yesterday to declare that Azov Civilian Corps will continue their picketing of KyivMiskBud.
