Belarusian cyclists dominate in Kyiv’s Race Horizon Park (PHOTOS)

Katarzhyna Wilkos of Poland and Uladzislau Tsimoshyk of Belarus won women’s and men’s Horizon Park cycling races, respectively, that took place in Kyiv downtown on May 25, 2019.

Wilkos finished 107-kilometer race in 2 hours, 36 minutes, 57 seconds. She was closely followed by two cyclists from Minsk, Karalina Savenka and Hanna Tserakh, who won second and third places respectively.

Tsimoshyk finished 134-kilometer-race in 2 hours, 56 minutes, 35 seconds. Ukrainian cyclist Vitaliy Buts and Belarusian Stanislau Bazhkou finished second and third.

Race Horizon Park is an annual cycling tournament held in Kyiv. This year, it gathered 260 professional female and male cyclists from 11 countries. This race is one of the two Ukrainian cycling races authorized by the Union Cycling International and winning it gives points to athletes in the qualification for the Olympic Games.
