Around 20 men and women gathered on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv on April 26 to commemorate those killed by radiation in the 30 years since the Chornobyl disaster.

The activists lit up hundreds of candles that were set out to form the shape of a radiation danger sign. After they finished, they honored the victims of the Chornobyl disaster, the world’s worst-ever nuclear accident, with a minute of silence.
