The list of foreign leaders who agreed to come to Moscow for the pompous 70th Anniversary Victory Day celebrations on May 9 is short.
It became even shorter when two of the invited guests – North Korea
leader Kim-Jong Un and Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov – dropped out a
week before the celebrations. This leaves Moscow with guests from
Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Venezuela as wella s several Asian
and African countries.
