Two Ukrainian ministries demonstrated their work to children at a special training in Taras Shevchenko Park in central Kyiv on Sept. 27.
The action was organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of the Internal Affairs. The purpose of the event was to introduce children to the daily work of the employees of the ministries.
Children saw how cynologists, fire guards, police and forklift drivers work. The employees of the ministries helped children to put on some of the professional gear and taught them how to use the emergency equipment. The event had a fun-filled atmosphere, although had a primary purpose of introducing the useful professions to the kids.
