The winter chill of Kyiv was warmed by a bright and colorful exhibition of illuminated art installations at a Chinese lantern festival on Feb. 14, Saint Valentine’s Day.
The festival was held at the Ukrainian capital’s Spivoche Pole public park and event area, overlooking the Dnipro River.
Visitors toured the gardens, which were filled with illuminated figures, such as brightly-lit pandas, flamingos, a herd of deer and a 40-meter-long Chinese dragon.
A specially invited team of specialists from China set up the installations.
