Kyiv’s main Christmas fair opened in Sofiivska Square on Dec. 19.
Hundreds came to witness the lightening up of the Christmas Tree, including President Petro Poroshenko and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko with families. The capital’s main Christmas Tree is a 26-meter live pine that was delivered from the Carpathians.
The Christmas fair spreads from Sofiivska Square to Mykhailivska Square.
