The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv sentenced Oleksandr Yefremov, the former Party of Regions lawmaker and the close ally of the ousted President Viktor Yanukovych to two months in pretrial detention. Yefremov is suspected in organization and financing the terrorist group, the so-called Luhansk People's Republic and committing the actions that lead to people's deaths and the Ukrainian borders violation.
