As Ukrainians commemorated the Heavenly Hundred, the name for the 100 EuroMaidan activists killed during the bloodiest days of the uprising, on Feb. 18-20, 2014, ultra-nationalists from the Revolutionary Right-Wing Forces organization started a rally.

The organization demands resignation of the current government, the dismissal of the National Security and Defense Council headed by Oleksandr Turchynov, and the immediate resignation of President Petro Poroshenko.

Claiming that the activists are war veterans who defended the ruined Donetsk airport and fought for Marynka village in Donetsk Oblast, they said they would not leave the Maidan until the government meets their demands. In addition, they set up a few tents on the square.

After a while, about 50 activists of the Revolutionary Right-Wing Forces entered the Kozatsky Hotel on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, set up headquarters there, and held a meeting.
