The Future Generation Art Prize 2019 modern art exhibition has kicked off at the Pinchuk Art Center in Kyiv.

The exhibition features artworks of 21 nominees for Future Generation Art Prize 2019, an award established by Viktor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009, to recognize young artist under 35.

“Future Generation Art Prize 2019 displays contemporary artworks by artists from 17 countries, including Monira Al Qadiri from Kuwait, collaborative duo Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme, U.S. artists Sondra Perry and Daniel Turner, Norwegian artist Eli Lundgaard, Ukrainian artist Anna Zviahintseva, Columbian artist Gala Poras-Kim, Korakrit Arunanondchai from Thailand, Japan’s Yu Araki, Madison Bycroft from Australia, and others.

The exhibition focuses on the interpretation of knowledge in the modern world and the differences between the traditions and realities in a globalized world.

“Future Generation Art Prize 2019” will run until April 7, 2018.
