A charity fair of handmade goods took place in Kyiv City Council on March 7 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. in support of Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Russia's war against Ukraine.
The war in the eastern Donbas has claimed more than 10,000 lives — if the estimates of Russian and Russian separatist dead are included. The war has been going on for more than a year, instigated by the Kremlin after annexing Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula.
A Feb. 15 cease-fire has slowed fighting, but not not stopped the war.
