Until recently Svitlana Ryzhenko, a retiree who used to work as an accountant for the wife of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, owned eight luxury apartments in downtown Kyiv that are leased out by Lutsenko’s son, as well as a $1 million apartment in Russian-annexed Crimea, according to an investigation by the Nashi Groshi anti-graft watchdog and the corporate register.
