People take part in celebrating the traditional Malanka holiday by wearing traditional costumes and singing ethnic songs at the Mamaeva Sloboda open-air folk museum on Jan. 14.

Dozens came to Mamaeva Sloboda open-air folk museum on Jan. 14 to a celebrate a traditional Ukrainian holiday, Malanka.

A group of people wearing traditional costumes performed a range of traditional folk rituals that are thought to date from pre-Christian times.
