On Sept. 6, the lawmakers were back in Kyiv after a two-month summer break to start the fifth session of the current parliament’s convocation.
Among the main expectations of the next several months is the discussion of the state budget for 2017, a change of the election system, and the decentralization of power. At the same time, the opposition demands cancellation of the laws increasing gas and electricity prices that were passed at the previous session.
