On Aug. 2, hundreds of former soldiers celebrated Airborne Forces Day.
Men met at Independence Square in Kyiv to congratulate each other and have fun on their holiday. Some showed their combat skills. Some formed a pyramid to show their unity and power of cooperation. One group marched up the Institutska Street to honor the Heavenly Hundred, the demonstrators killed during the EuroMaidan Revolution that drove President Viktor Yanukovych from power on Feb. 22, 2014.
They brought flowers to the memorial at the place where the heroes were shot.
