On Dec. 29, Premier Palace Hotel in Kyiv hosted a New Year event "Orphans are our children," organized by a charity organization.
Kids got a chance to dance and play with St. Nicholas as well as the Snow Maiden. They were presented gifts provided by the donors.
The political, diplomatic and
business community came to serve orphaned children and give them the
opportunity to experience the feeling of Christmas and New Year holidays in a
family atmosphere.
Difficult situation in Ukraine did not stop the organizers, ICO Orphans
Are Our Children, from holding the annual event for the orphaned children.
People of different nationalities, such as the USA, Pakistan, Russia, Israel,
Vietnam, Egypt, showed care to the orphaned children and invested their
personal values into them. Ukrainian citizens took care of
the show program and food on celebration tables.
The most important thing is orphaned children received most needed love
and attention.
At
the event were present 100 orphaned children from 8 orphanages:

type orphanages: Ishchuk, Solomaha, Kalinka, Fedorovy

graduates from Maliatko and The Ray of Hope orphanages
With
the words of wisdom and encouragement spoke: Olena
Pidhrushna, deputy minister of youth and sports; Wajahat
Ali Muftee, ambassador of Pakistan to Ukraine; Sergei Tselovalnik – chief architect of Kyiv; Nataliia
Uvarova, president of ICO Orphans Are Our Children; Kuleba
Nikolai, children’s ombudsman.
The show program was provided by singers Mirra Gold, Artur
Bosso, Borysenko Brothers, Mariana Golovko, dancers from family type orphanage
Solomaha, TV host Eduard Gleza and Santa and Snigurochka from Kompot studio.
The
guests who came to spend time with the orphaned children were Amira Khafaga
from the embassy of Egypt, Din Thi Hong Bien from the embassy of Vietnam, actor Vladimir Gorianskii, representatives of Sayenko Kharenko, Billa, Kyiv
International Contract Fair, Triada,
Avanpost-Prim, Pilsner, Ariel Hai Bar
Holding and others.
The event was organized due to the
support of the Premier Palace Hotel, network of filling stations KLO, confectionery
Joy Cakes, confectionery AVK, network of supermarkets Billa, pizzeria MIO pizza,
