More than 10,000 pilgrims from all over Ukraine gathered in Kyiv to celebrate the 1028 anniversary of the Kyivan Rus baptism on July 27.
The representatives of Ukrainian and Russian branches of the Eastern Orthodox Church had to celebrate under the severe control of more than 4,000 police officers and the National Guard servicemen due to the provocations menace.
