On Sept. 30, about 20 protesters came to the Ministry of Health in Kyiv to demand that Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili improve the level of medical education in Ukraine. Wearing costumes of doctors and of the Grim Reaper, they brought banners and posters reading "A year of corruption by Kateryna Amosova - 49.5% new murderer doctors," "Sandro sign it! Fire Kateryna Amosova," "Kvitashvili, leave a good heritage - fire Kateryna Amosova" and "Fire Kateryna Amosova - save patients' lives." One of the main demands of protesters was that Amosova to be fired as rector of Bogomolets National Medical University. The protesters accused her of corruption and incompetence. The activists also brought with them crosses presenting people who have died as a consequence of medical incompetence.
