Pysanka Fest rolls on Sofiivska and Mikhailivska squares

Hundreds of Ukrainians visited the Pysanka Festival on this Easter weekend.

Some 374 pysankas, each by different author, were made for this festival. One can learn how to make pysankas there, take selfies and eat street food and enjoy several attractions for children and their parents. Also on Mykhailivska Square there is Pysanka Wish Tunnel where one can touch to 25 different pysankas and afterwards make a wish which is supposed to come true.

May 2 and May 3 are official holidays in Ukraine, for Easter and Labor Day. The next holiday is May 9 Victory Day, celebrating the 71st anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany.
