Residents of Donetsk Oblast are forced to endure a travel nightmare if they want to move between Ukrainian-controlled territory and areas held by separatists. With no direct buses, they have to transfer multiple times to get to their destination.
Each day, hundreds of people stand on the road with their personal belongings to catch a bus, as there are no longer any direct connections between the territories.
