Mayoral runoff elections held in Dnipropetrovsk, Uzhhorod

The cities of Dnipropetrovsk and Uzhhorod held mayoral election run-offs on Nov. 15.

In Dnipropetrovsk, Borys Filatov, an ally of tycoon Ihor Kolomoisky, defeated Oleksandr Vilkul, a former associate of disgraced former President Viktor Yanukovych, according to exit polls. See related story.

In Uzhhorod, Serhiy Ratushnyak, an ex-mayor of the city, competed with Bohdan Andriiv form the Vidrozhdennya party, an offshoot of Yanukovych’s Party of Regions.
