A Russian military plane crashed into the Black Sea on its way to Syria on the morning of Dec. 25.

The plane was carrying 92 people, none of whom appeared to survive, according to the Russian authorities.

Most of the passengers were the members of the Alexandrov Ensemble, an official army choir of the Russian armed forces. They were flying to Syria to perform for the troops at the military base in Latakia.

Among other passengers were nine journalists and cameramen from Russian TV channels First Channel, NTV and Zvezda, and a well-known Russian doctor and philanthropist Elizaveta Glinka, also known as “Doctor Liza.”
