The Feb. 3 scene on Khreshchatyk Street and Independence Square

With no political solution in sight, Independence Square's tent city lives on as EuroMaidan protests entered their 75th day on Feb. 3. President Viktor Yanukovych returned to work after a sick leave. Members of parliament continued to quarrel. The Russia and the West continued to warn each other not to interfere with the internal affairs of Ukraine -- even as both sides remain deeply involved.  The action shifts to parliament on Feb. 4, when lawmakers will debate constitutional changes to curb the powers of the presidency in favor of parliament. But there still is no breakthrough agreement on the horizon.
