More than 1,000 people took part in the rally organized by Ukrainian Federation of Trade Unions in front of the building of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, in Kyiv on Dec. 8
The protesters asked for more social benefits for workers and other categories of citizens in the face of rising energy prices and tariffs for housing and communal services.
