For the first time ever, Ukraine’s capital will be hosting the final matches of the Union of European Football Associations, or UEFA, women’s and men’s champions leagues, annual football competitions among Europe’s top-division football clubs.

Ukrainians had a chance to look at the trophies at Kyiv’s central Khreschatyk Street on April 21.

Football fans in Ukraine’s five other major cities will, too, have the chance to see the UEFA Champions League trophies as part of its Trophy Experience tour. The trophies will be taken to Mariupol, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Lviv by the end of April.

The women’s final match will be played at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium on May 24, while the men’s – at the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex in Kyiv on May 26.

The four clubs that will be competing in the upcoming men’s league semi-finals are: German Bayern, English Liverpool, Spanish Real Madrid, and Italian Roma.

The women’s league semi-finalists are: English clubs Chelsea and Manchester City, French Lyon, and German Wolfsburg.
