UPDATE: Ukraine’s team finishes 4th overall with 22 medals at 2018 Winter Paralympic Games

Ukraine finished 4th, with 22 medals including 7 gold, as the 2018 Winter Paralympics Games ended on March 18 in South Korea.

Ukraine scored another gold medal in skiing to add to its total in the medal standings at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The team has won 22 medals – 7 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze — as the March 9 ends on March 18 with closing ceremonies. 

The National Sports Committee for the Disabled of Ukraine announced that the team will return to Ukraine and can be greeted on March 20 at 12:30 p.m. at Kyiv Boryspil International Airport’s Terminal F.

The latest medal winners on the 33-member Ukrainian team are  Yuriy Utkin, Ludmyla Lyashenko and Oksana Shyshkova, who  won the 4×2,5-km mixed ski race, according to 112.ua.

A day earlier, Grygorii Vovchansky came in second in the 10-km ski rase among athletes in a stand-up position and Maksym Yarovyi who won the bronze medal in the 7.5-km ski race, according to 112.ua.
