A rehearsal of the Independence Day military parade took place on Kyiv's central Khreshchatyk Street on Aug. 22.
Hundreds attended the rehearsal to watch the heavy military vehicles. The men and women were taking pictures with Ukrainian soldiers and tanks. The soldiers were wearing a new type of miliraty uniform for the first time.
Ukraine will celebrate 25 years since gaining independence in 1991 on Aug. 24.
