Women hold posters that read "Hands off Kasko" at a rally in support of ex-Deputy Prosecutor General Vitaly Kasko in front of Kyiv's Pechersk Court on April 14.

Kyiv's Pechersk Court on April 15 rejected prosecutors' motion to arrest ex-Deputy Prosecutor General Vitaly Kasko in a fraud case.

The court imposed travel restrictions on him.

Several dozens of protesters came to the court building to support Kasko.

Prosecutors, who served a notice of suspicion to Kasko on April 10, claim that he illegally received two
apartments from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Critics say that the case is fabricated and constitutes
revenge by President Petro Poroshenko, ex-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin and acting Prosecutor General
Yury Sevruk for Kasko’s criticism of the prosecutor’s office.
