Army fundraising volunteers held an exhibition showcasing the types of supplies they provide to the Ukrainian army.
The one-day exhibition opened on Jan. 31 in Expo Plaza (2B Saliutna St.) in Kyiv. It showcased the newest types of bulletproof vests, unmanned aerial vehicles, military clothing, and field rations.
Since the beginning of the separatist conflict in Ukraine’s east in March 2014 thousands of volunteers have been raising donations for the army and delivering the essential supplies to the formations fighting in the east.
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak visited the exhibition and awarded the most active volunteers with certificates of appreciation.
