Some 200 people took part in the Vyshyvanka Run, an annual race that celebrated Ukraine's Independence Day on Aug. 24 in Kyiv.
The Vyshyvanka Run took place in the Rusanovka neighborhood on the left bank in Kyiv.
The annual Vyshyvanka Run is open for participation to everyone, regardless of age. The event kicked off with a family race at a distance of 100 meters. There also were the 500 and 1,000 meter races for children, and a five-kilometer and a ten-kilometer races for adults.
