Russia's War Against Ukraine
Editor’s Note: The Kyiv Post will start publishing the English-language videos and transcripts from StopFake.org, a non-governmental organization that debunks myths and fake news about Ukraine. StopFake began its work nearly three years ago after the EuroMaidan Revolution that ousted President Viktor Yanukovych, triggering Russia’s war in Ukraine. The project was launched by alumni and students of Kyiv-based Mohyla School of Journalism and the Digital Future of Journalism.
The June 5 edition of StopFake News with Marko Suprun. This week StopFake dissects Russian claims that Ukraine gets the short end of the stick from its trade deal with the European Union; Ukrainian shipbuilders allegedly massively fleeing to Russia, and Kyiv demands the extradition of a European MP who visited the Donbas region controlled by Russian-backed separatists.
