UA.TV: Crimea – a historically Ukrainian land (VIDEO)

64 years ago, Crimea became part of Ukraine. The peninsula was destroyed in World War 2 and became desolate after the deportation of Crimean Tatars. The decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR outlined the economic advantages of transferring the peninsula to Ukraine. But Russian propaganda is still cultivating the myth of “Khrushchev’s gift” in its attempt to justify the annexation in 2014.
