The main Euro 2012 department of Kyiv City State Administration jointly with the Mysterious Kyiv tourist organization and the Interesting Kyiv information center have prepared 16 sightseeing tours for football fans and guests during the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

"Fans will have a chance to see another side of Kyiv, its amazing sights, which they probably have never seen and hear of. This will help introduce interesting and unusual sides of our city to the many millions of attendees of Euro 2012," the head of the department, Tetiana Slychyk, said, according to the press service of Kyiv City State Administration.

The guests of the capital will see mysterious streets and yards, churches and other fascinating places in the city.

They will have the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of a Cossack village of the 17th century or Soviet Kyiv.

Supporters can also go on an interesting excursion called Football Kyiv, where they will learn about the traditions of fan clubs in the world and fans of Kyiv FC Dynamo.

"Everyone will be able to choose an excursion he or she prefers: a romantic trip to the city parks, or an excursion to museums and well-known churches, or the underground monasteries of ancient Kyiv. Tourists will also be able to take a trip on the River Dnipro, attend a party at a night club or enjoy real Ukrainian beer in one of the capital’s pubs," reads the statement.

A schedule of daily group excursions has been drafted for foreign guests.
