Kharkiv – The Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv region has admitted that former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko was transported from the Kachanivska Penal Colony to the Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 of Ukrzaliznytsia (Kharkiv) on April 20 by force, the prosecutor of Kharkiv region, Hennadiy Tiurin, has said.

"A person took her things, [she] got dressed, and then she lay on the bed and said, ‘I won’t go anywhere.’ According to the law, the Criminal Procedure Code, the penitentiary service has the right to apply force, so we took her, carried her to the car and transported her to the hospital," the prosecutor said at a press conference in Kharkiv on Tuesday.
