The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has registered Tamara Yehorenko as an MP from the Regions Party.
The commission adopted a relevant decision at its meeting on Feb. 26.
As reported, on Feb. 19 the Ukrainian parliament terminated the powers of Ukrainian MP Victor Yanukovych, leader of the Regions Party, due to his election as president.
Yehorenko, born in 1949, was 179th on the electoral list of the Party of Regions at the 2007 early parliamentary elections.
