More Bodies Found in Kyiv Rubble After Latest Russian Attack Kills 28

Emergency workers clear tons of rubble from the aftermath of a direct missile strike on an apartment building in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv. Only a crater is left in its place.

Emergency crews worked throughout the night, searching for any remaining survivors beneath the debris.

By Wednesday morning, 11 more bodies were found in the basement of the obliterated building. Officials say 23 people were killed at this location alone.

Russia launched 440 drones and 32 missiles throughout the night, including hypersonic Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called Monday night’s bombardment one of the largest attacks the country has ever sustained.

In total, at least 28 people were killed and 134 injured across Kyiv in the June 16 attack, according to city officials.

New attacks occur every day across Ukraine. For those watching from afar, the war may seem to fade – but here, it cannot be ignored.

Emergency crews remain on site, waiting to find more victims. Waiting for the next attack.
